March 30, Monday 2:00pm Dolmynach House and Radnorshire Society Library
A tour of the buildings with Jennifer Lewis and Elizabeth Newman.
April 18, Saturday, 12:00 for 12:30pm. Annual Lunch (Carvery) at the Fforest Inn, Llanfihangel Nant Melan
After lunch speaker: Cherry Williams – Memorable Moments in Nursing & Midwifery.
May 9, Saturday, 2:00pm. Visit to Cascob Old School and church (2nd visit)
A 2nd visit to the house and church by kind invitation of Peter Conradi. The school house buildings date from 1857.
June 19, Friday 6:00 for 6:30pm Midsummer Picnic at Monaughty Mill (on B4356)
A visit by kind invitation of Peter and Shelley Lane. Parking will be in a field approximately 100 meters along the road from the house. Bring your own picnic and drinks.
July 4, Saturday 2:00pm. Visit to St Anno’s Church, Llananno
A visit by kind invitation of the Charity ‘Friends of Friendless Churches’. Trustee Thomas Lloyd will give a talk about the history of the church and its ancient rood screen.
Refreshments afterwards at the Lion Hotel, Llanbister at £4.50 per person.
July 16, Thursday 7:00pm. Historical walk led by Jessica Hutching above the Edw Valley
Jessica Hutching will tell us the story of the Edw Valley with its fort/castle sites and its connection to Aberedw Hill.
August 8, Saturday 2:00 for 2:30pm. Visit to Hergest Court near Kington
A visit by kind invitation of Richard Banks and led by Historian Allan Lloyd. No charge for the visit, but donations in aid of St Michael’s Hospice would be appreciated.
September 10, Thursday 6:00pm Guided walk to the site of Colwyn Castle near Hundred House.
Jessica Hutching will tell us about the history of this ancient site. Approx 2 miles.
September 19, Saturday 2:00pm Visit to the Thomas Shop, Penybont
A tour and talk about this fascinating museum by kind invitation of Derek Turner.
Tea, coffee and cakes to follow.
October 11, Sunday 2:00pm Visit to the Albert Hall Theatre and Ithon Road Chapel
Tour and history of the theatre and chapel by Jon Williams, Chairman of the Albert Hall Theatre. No charge, but donations to the Theatre Trust welcome.

November Social Lunch. Date and venue tbc
