The Elan Links scheme is hosting a festival of Archaeology and History as part of the Council for British Archaeology’s Festival of Archaeology on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of July 2023.
The theme for this year is Creativity and Archaeology and together with partners Welsh Water who are hosting the event, Elan Links are planning a family day, packed with activities relating to the archaeology and history of the Elan Valley, with some of the country’s leading living history specialists and re-enactment groups in attendance. They are keen to bring together local Welsh communities and organisations to celebrate archaeology and local heritage in all of its many forms.
