Bursary

Bursary

Applications are invited from post-graduate students or independent scholars in the fields of history or archaeology, who are engaged upon, or about to embark upon, original research related to the former county of Radnor.

It is not intended that the bursary should help the successful candidate(s) to meet supervision or tuition fees, but to assist in research costs such as field work or the photocopying of archive material etc.

The Society has up to a maximum of £500 to distribute to worthy projects each year and the successful candidate(s) will be expected to offer an edited version of the completed work either in part or as a whole for publication in the Transactions of the Radnorshire Society.

Applications, with a proposed scheme of research, curriculum vitae, and the names and addresses of two referees, should be sent to the Secretary of the Radnorshire Society.
